Was wondering if anyone else would like or find it helpful having odds/rate of pull visible?
For example and not accurate 2000-01 Fleer Tradition Glossy BK were available in Hobby packs at a rate of 1 in 2

Yes. I do think that info is valuable.
I see it in some of the baseball sets under sale sheets/advertising area or packaging images,.
Other areas for such potential notes could be trivia or user comments, but I would defer to more senior members opinions on best practices to note this info.

I would love it. I always have to leave this site for that info. It's fun to know. Also cool to know when a high series is short printed even if not official like prizm or 72 topps

Some sets have this infor posted under Release Notes which would seem to be the most appropriate place for this info. The Release Notes are meant to provide amplifying information and this would be it.

A lot of this information was crammed into the Note/Note2 areas, and a couple years back, we had a few people go through and make a concerted effort to clear the Notes fields, but maintain the odds info by entering it into the Release Notes. If you do not see that info in the Release Notes of the set you're looking at, it was never here in the first place.
Also, IIRC, there was some discussion about insertion ratios versus print runs and serial numbers, and it was deemed collectively that having the PR or SN info in the Release Notes was more helpful (and desired) than having the insertion odds listed.
One thing that has been agreed upon time and time again is that the Release Notes area is a highly under-utilized feature of the site, and it should be used more. So, in that regard, please feel free to add insertion ratios to the Release Notes as well as any SN/PR info (when the entire set is a single SN/PR or if the set is divided in sections - e.g., 1-100 PR34, 101-150 PR17).

I always thought it was odd that we did not have ratios listed. About a year and a half ago I asked Admin about where they should be listed.
He sent me to this page for his preference.

IMO, I do prefer this as well. A quick overview all on one page.

Odds are a mere marketing gimmick to increase sales. Odds are totally meaningless once the product is released. Once packs are opened the odds change. And all you "hit chasers" who fixate on pack odds are the card companies' junkies.
Let's give a simple example. Odds are 1 in 2 packs, odds are 50/50. Only 2 packs are produced. Your buddy buys a pack. He opens his and gets the hit. Now, what are the odds on the remaining pack? Still 50/50 like is printed on the wrapper? Are you going to buy that other pack? You say, "of course not" you know the odds are no longer 1:2 because you saw your buddy pull the hit. Now think big picture, the packs are released across North America. You have no idea what's been opened and pulled. In other words, once a product is released you have no idea what the true remaining odds are.
So what purpose do they serve the database?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

To me it is historical information. It can be used to expain/justify pricing when in search of cards in the wild.
Take early Refractors that were 1 per box as opposed to the current dime-box rate they are pulled now.
Again for my purposes, when I feel like buying a 15 year old box of whatever, I'd like to find the information here. I don't see any reason not to reflect any information about the product.

Just to be clear, those are "Release Notes" that are showing up on that 93-94 Upper Deck page.
I agree that this information is worth recording.
