I'm working on a creative idea using old bad condition trading cards, and I've been looking around online for a comma delineated database of every know player that has had a trading card printed with their name on the front.
I'm coming up empty?! I'm pretty new here, so I may be missing something obvious, but hopefully someone on this forum can point me to a database or "google sheet" or excel file or something.
I'm hoping for a list of every player name for every major sport that has at least ONE card printed with the name on the front.
Anybody? Bueller?

No. But TCDB comes close. Just not in one file.

I searched and searched for the same thing This is where I landed. It's the best out there, but as Sportzcommish said, just not in a file format. They do a great job here!

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project. |

i started adding in my own collection, and I can see that given a few days, I might be able to cobble together some type of database that gets close...

Welcome to the site, but please please please don't add every card in the database to your personal collection for your project.
