Wow Chuck that's impressive. I'd love to get a Bears and Whits Sox card that old some day.

Always looking for Blackhawk hockey, Notre Dame Football, White Sox and Bears Stuff. I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox.

That's one of the coolest sports names ever. Nice card too.

1895 Fashion Cut Plug triple folder. This was found in an "empherma" box at a rummage sale for $1. It was difficult to find info on this card and set, it is one of those things that is either behind a paywall or in an old catalog. Someone on the old net54 (the non-sports card version) was able to find the info about it. Last I had checked, this is only the second graded sample on SGC, none on PSA or Beckett. Graded only to preserve the card, since it was fragile since being made of paper instead of a thicker cardboard. Value unknown since it falls into the "no one knows it exists and no one collects it" despite it being both rare and old.

My oldest baseball card is from the T206 set. I have the Jack Quinn card and one of Fred Merkle's cards. My oldest card period is an 1887 Sweet Caporal card of a generic soldier.
