For some reason or other 1989 Score baseball packs were memorable in that they had a scent that just made me want to keep busting more packs, which one was your favorite or stood out for 1 reason or another?

Definitely 1990 Pro Set football. I could never quite put my finger on what the smell reminded me of but that would be my most memorable for sure.

Smell is very important to memories. One of my favorite smells is water boiling. That takes me right back to when I was a kid, my mom made pasta of some sort all the time, at least three times a week. The water, and then the pasta itself, love them both. Unfortunately I've had to mostly give up eating pasta since it makes me sick now, and it's very carb heavy to boot.
Ames went under around 2000 to 2002. A shame, I loved that store.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. It’s hard for me to pin down one in particular. I do love how my basement smells like baseball cards now if I have a bunch of stacks on my desk(which is most of the time)

I can still smell 1989 Donruss baseball if I think about it, particularly the wax packs. Possibly specifically the DK puzzle pieces

I liked to smell my 1992 Fleer Ultras (Baseball). Must have been the UV coating.
