The last 3 trades I have made to Canada there have taken over a month to get there and 1 has never showed up at all. I always mail with a tracking number to Canada, I put the tracking numbers in and I get this 

"Customers should anticipate delays as important safety measures, including physical distancing, means it takes longer to process heavy parcel volumes. Please track your item. Our call centres have no further information."

Is anyone else having problems mailing to Canada? It's frustrating and I don't really know what to do about it.

wait the Month or longer. It s spotty.. I mailed an Envelope out to Shawracing. He received others I mailed to him before the Original one I mailed first..

I'm still waiting On Australia.. He just recently got mine.. Took over  1-1/2 months to get their..

Some of my letter and large flats (envelopes) took 39 days to reach Saskatchewan.  There's nothing you can do about.

 I know when sending to Saskatchewan its because of a lack of sled dogs right now. They can't get them to work during COVID due to health concerns. The rest of Canada has cars and vans though so I don't know what is going on...

Ok... as a Canadian, everything is slower these last couple of months. I think just keep waiting it out. I got things sent from an hour drive away or so that came in a couple days, otherwise it takes weeks. They don't do overnight or any kind of expedited shipping because they just can't guarantee anything. Some post offices have threatened strikes due to working conditions and lack of staffing. I blame universal healthcare. JK.

Delivery times are bound to be lengthened due to our current circumstance. On average I've noticed approx. 7-10 days longer than normal which on a good day to the USA is 10+ days on average so not a great discomfort.

p.s I have a sneaking suspicion that ranfordfan may have a "rebuttal/comment"  for RonEaston...

Lately for me it's taken longer to get to Canada than to receive. I've had much the same experience when shipping more than one item at a time to the same address. Not sure why they don't arrive together, but they eventually get there.

Nunavut doesn't have roads for cars (except within the villages and the town of Iqaluit). Dog sleds, skidoo's, 4x4's and planes only way to get around. Pretty sure much of the N.W.T. and Yukon are the same, again except for the towns and the surrounding areas.

Also if using Purolator to ship to Canada they were putting a 3-day quarantine on everything coming from outside the country, with the exception of PPE and other essential goods. However as of May 27th they have laxed that policy and have began preparing for the Pandexit with the rest of the county. U.S. customs/ Canadian customs may have also delayed the shipping process on many non-essential shipments. Rather get the masks and gloves required to the health workers than Jaromir Jagr's 1990 pro set RC to Bob McKenzie up in Moose Jaw or Red Deer.  

Replacing bubble envelopes and boxes by multiple PWEs seem to be the trick. First class letters (PWEs) to/in Canada are moving quite "normal" now. The main issue is what's processed as packages by Canada Customs and Canada Post. Tons of regional/local packages are taking over a month to be delivered. I got two Amazon packages injected in the mailstream in Montreal and the smaller one took three weeks to make it up to my mailbox.

I have read, in a few different places, that the sorting and processing facilities aren't set up in ways as to facilitate distancing properly, which, I'm sure is accountable for most of the delays. Tbh, I would rather everyone's health and wellbeing stay intact, rather than receive my Gilmour RC in a regular timeframe.

Having numerous trades on the go and mostly coming from the States, the delays are all States-side of the border.  Once they get into Canada, they get here quite quickly.  All I can say, everyone be patient with what is going on.  It can be a week or 7 weeks, and it doesn't matter if it is a parcel or a PWE.  If you have a tracking # share it with the other member and save it till the item arrives where it needs to be.

Though it may only be dog sleds in Saskatchewan, at least those of us from there know how to read and write so if your PWE makes it within the provincial border, then you can be assured it will be delivered.  Here in Ontario, everyone reads everything as "Toronto".
