Whoever this person was they had some interesting collections. I have never met anyone with Nazi memorabilia, but I am wondering if someone was a WWII vet and just brought the things home from the war.

It's possible these came from more than one estate. The address given is where the auctioneer lives and Ive been to one auction on his property. Seems like they had 3 different auctions going at the same time that day.

They were most likely a sailor in WWII. One of the items listed says it is from an unknown hotel/motel in Norfolk, VA. But when you look closely at it, it lists Virginia Beach at the bottom. Nice little sign that says
All street women who are bringing in sailors must pay for the room in advance.

That is why I assumed it was an estate sale from an older fellow with all the WW2 stuff and the like, some of those old cards sure look interesting no?

The cards do look interesting. If I lived in that area, I might check it out. But, Boston is too much of a road trip. Especially with everything going on. People have linked that companies auctions before on other forums about the cards. They auction some cool stuff. But a lot of crap. I did see some book shelves in there too.

Corky, I have a friend who collected Nazi memorabilia. He actually had a nazi flag that his grandfather brought home along with a straight razor off a German soldier. Neat stuff but dont think I would want them in my house.
