This makes for great reading!! Good idea, whoever thought up the question.
Most think mine comes from the fact that I was born in '56, which is ok, because I am cool, however; "aint56cool" is from the greatest linebacker to ever play in the NFL, and, in my opinion one of the top all around players of all time Lawrence Taylor. I met him in 1982 and for some reason, we hit it off. I happened to be in my USMC Dress Blues for a Marine Corps birthday celebration and he was all about "Man, really, thanks for your service to your country" and I was like "are you serious, you're freaking LT man, thank you for the exitement I get just watching you on the field" and it turned into a 2 hour conversation. We kept in more or less twice a year contact throughout his career and for a while after he retired. Then the problems that I could sense that were bubbling just below the surface for years for him exploded and he started having problems and getting into trouble. I didn't hear from him for quite a while until, thankfully, he got himself some help and straightened things out. Honestly, one of the greatest people I've ever known, and not just for football.
PS: the cute little girl in my picture is my youngest granddaughter Jane proudly wearing her Packers pajamas. I have no idea how she became a Packer fan...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
