Found an old Panini Sticker but the surface picture isn't great. It is missing a scan in the database. Should I scan it or becasuse the front of the picture is a little damaged, should I just pass on scanning? I am pretty sure the guidelines say do not scan, but the sticker is 32 years old and no one has scanned yet? Would the database be better served with a bad scan or no scan after this long?

Please if you have it scan both sides, hundreds of the Panini stickers here already with front only.

Allow me to add, these poor attempts at images ARE getting tagged with "Image Needs Replacing", which will remove the point credit from the original submitter once a decent scan is added and transfer that to submitter of the good image. This is not meant to allow a free-for-all.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

Not too sure about the photos thing but I understand "incomplete" allowed until a "better" image gets uploaded... Maybe someone could verify ?

Admin is allowing total crap to stay in place and not removing them. Incomplete (over cropped), incomplete (partially covered), incomplete (in packaging), incomplete (half cards), altered (writing), photographed, low resolution, disproportionate. I for one am tired of the "something's better than nothing" line of thinking.
The key word in our name...DATABASE. What about someone doing research for a particular card image. They come here and see this or one of many of such low res that can't even be read. What are they going to think? What would you think if you were researching on the Library of Congress' DATABASE and saw these type of images? This database should strive to be the BEST and accept nothing less.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I always thought that taking cell phone pictures were TABOO, lotsa jumping around if 1 was recognized.
Now it's OK? Wow that's a turnaround.
