I'm sure this has been posted in the forums before but I was wondering what people use when they ship trades? PWE or Bubble Mailer?
For me, it depends on the trade. I've used both but feel bad at times if I ship in a PWE and the other person ships in a bubble mailer w/ tracking.
Also, I've been using paypal shipping for years. Anyone else use this?
Just wanted to know what people use.

Communication is the key.
I ship pwe slot, but a small minority hate receiving those
So I make sure I mention in trade messages and comments that I am shipping pwe, just in case that is an issue for the other collector.

I will generally ship less than 27 cards in a 9 pocket pwe. I have sent 2 pwe's to some traders, especially in the Great White North, because parcel shipping to Canada generally starts at $10. Small trades of 4 or 5 cards go into top laoders and pwe. Larger trades I'll use VIP parcel to ship cause I can do from home and it's cheaper than PO. Those are either bubble mailers or boxes. If someone requests not to use a pwe then I determine of the trade is worth the couple of bucks the package will cost.

Always looking for Blackhawk hockey, Notre Dame Football, White Sox and Bears Stuff. I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox.

I do most of my trading in a 9 pocket sheet and PWE because most times the cards aren't worth enough to justify the extra postage costs. I generally will also note on any proposal I make something like care for a small PWE trade? I will say I generally prefer doing PWE trades.

I also do up to 27 cards in a PWE. Most of them in some variation of a 9 Pocket page. 1,2,3, card are generally in a top loader in a PWE.
NOTE: Forgot to mention. Always communicate if you are using a PWE.

Be careful with Valentine's Day cards else your better half may ask questions!
Seriously, communication is best and I've mailed up to 180 cards without tracking using large business envelopes.
And Paypal is the most convenient to use, but depending on how large a trade is sometimes using the USPS Regional Rate boxes will beat Paypal.

I know it's more expensive but I always ship in a bubble mailer no matter what. As far as receiving cards, I've only had five trades on TCDB so far and the last two PWEs I received had bent cards/pages. The senders used all the recommended precautions (including stiff cardboard) but the cards were still damaged by the post office. I'm just glad the cards were inexpensive and can be easily replaced.

I have been shipping padded (with tracking) for 12+ cards right now because I don't have the extra 9-pocket pages and larger envelopes to ship PWE.
But honestly, as long as I recieve the cards in good condition, I could card less how the person I am trading with ships them.

I prefer to ship in bubble mailers (or boxes) because I don't want my trade partners to be able to say what bbcardz says here.
PLus, I've been on his side of a trade recently. It was a shame 1/3 of the cards suffered the damage they did. (And no, I didn't tell my trade partner.)
