Do you hate Card Savers? Do you call them Card Killers as I do? Well don't despair, you don't have to put them in the recycle bin. I have found a use for them I'd like to share.
Do you have a problem with small cards that like to slip out of standard 9-pocket album pages? Or for us perfectionists who hate crooked cards in their albums, here's my solution. I cut the CardSavers down to use to hold small cards in my album pages.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Besides the 7-11 "coins", my 1972 Sunoco stamps and 1962 Topps stamps were always sliding out also.

Well, if we're doing a Hints from Heloise post, I'll contribute by responding to the last three posts. It's more expensive than cutting up card "savers," but you can go to a coin store and get plastic sheets for coins, along with cardboard holders for many different sized coins, that fit nicely within the plastic sheets. Just sayin'...

Love this idea. I've got a number of these but never really use them for anything. This is awesome, thanks!

Cool idea Chuck! I have just been using penny sleeves upside-down to try to keep those types of cards in my pages. Using the bottom of a piece of seemingly-trash seems like a better idea. And it's still cheap since most of those came from other people anyway. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the measurements!
