Grabbed my first pack of Topps Series 2 the other day and pulled a FHR-13 Reggie Jackson. Then noticed that FHR-13 from Series 1 was Javier Baez, so I researched and it seems series 2 has 35 new cards using the same numbering as series 1. Could someone please verify this for me and then set a checklist.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

That is annoying! I added Series 2 lists (Regular and Gold versions apparently)

Yes I found the same issue. There is also an issue with some of the relics

Are there not silvers in series 2? I notice the Reggie scan in the regular Series 21st HR set looks like the Silver parallels looked in Series 1. But I could see Topps changing things too. I just opened a pack with 2 and they were both gold, which seemed odd to me. So confusing!

i have pulled both silver and gold 1st HR from series 2 so they have restarted both of these inserts back at 1. i also found a career high relic of Dan Norris numbered CHR-DN in series 2. All of the series 1 career high relic start with CRH on the checklist.

So I think we need a silver series 2 checklist, and I think the Reggie scan needs moved there. This is what I get for buying cards when I was supposed to be saving my money for vacation!

Thats ok, i think the rest of my money is going towards Stadium Club. Card show tomorrow so hope to knock out more of my 57 and 61 Topps wantlist before i look at any shiny cards.

It looks like the Series 1 version that was listed just as "First Home Run" was a grey (?) version that didn't make it to Series 2. I can just update the Series 2 version of "First Home Run" to include "Silver", I just figured that was the "base" version for Series 2.

Ok, I didn't realize, since all I have so far are those two gold. Thanks for clearing that up. This was a major failure by Topps in my opinion. The numbering, and the reduction of colors. They will probably do it all again in Update!
