Been on the site now for almost two years. Visit almost daily and keep track of my collection on this site only........ most of the collectors on this site are baseball and hockey guys from all of the reading i have done (and very knowledgeable) Really like all the information, but would like to know where to tap into more football collectors....... or is there a spot on the site where i could enjoy more football reading.........

They're hidden within the framework somewhere. I'm one that has scaled back my football, but still have plenty of specific Wants from the '60s to current.
I've traded with a few football collectors as I primarily concentrate on baseball.
Just post a few items and they'll be out like moths to a lightbulb. (And you can smack away those pesky bothersome ones at anytime - me included.)

Follow my blog - I Identify as a Card Collector. “Aslan didn't tell Pole what would happen. He only told her what to do. That fellow will be the death of us once he's up, I shouldn't wonder. But that doesn't let us off following the signs.” - Puddleglum in The Silver Chair by C. S. Lewis

I honestly know nothing about football, but, if you want to talk about football, I suggest you start threads about football. Other collectors of the sport are bound to jump in and offer their thoughts. If you can't find the content you are looking for, try creating it. It's really not as scary as it sounds
There are also a couple of blogs about football. Bump and Run- which is written by a Database member- is football themed, and The Collective Mind is also a football collector. Sports Card Collectors is a big time Giants fan and collector. A Penny Sleeve For Your Thoughts is a football collector, among many other things.
You could always go through the list of top football collectors and see who is listed. Try sending a message and saying hello. Most collectors love to talk about cards. RayfromTexas I believe only collects football. Armac is the leading Cleveland Browns collector out there, and sometimes blogs as well. Spazmatastic collects the Panthers quite a bit as well. Banny and GlennChannell are football guys too.
There are others as well, those are just the people that come off the top of my mind.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I collect mostly football cards. You do get bits and pieces of football knowledge here, but I usually apply what others share here from other sports with my football interest. If you're looking for some "football" people, check out my "friends" here on my profile page. I'll also check out what you have on your tradelist to see if we can cook something up.

Spazmatastic is a BIG Panthers collector. I also collect the Packers and Patriots. I don't buy much football these days, but I have a ton of knowledge about the older stuff (mostly late-80's to 2012).
If you have any football questions, ask away and we'll answer it.There are a bunch of football collectors here, just most stuff posted in the forums is about baseball, hockey and basketball. I'm on here pretty much every night.
