I don't know much about them either, but I wouldn't think so. Aren't Topps Now and Panini Instant cards made to order as well? This is a realm of collecting (ACEO and On-Demand cards) that I don't really dabble in, so I don't know.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Valid point, I suspect the main difference is the fact that they're licensed product and produced by actual manufacturers and not by individuals.

Printing to order, and limiting it to one printing, and printing to each order, no matter how many, are two different animals.
Topps Now cards are limited to an ordering window, the Print Run is announced, and they are not printed again.
ACEO - no rules.

Aha! So that makes sense then. Thanks for the explanation - and again, if the Helmar set needs to come down, I'll tackle IRs tonight

Whatever they are, and no matter how proud you are of yourselves for having them, they should be removed on the grounds that listing them shows a disregard for professionalism and taste. If they aren’t ACEO, what are they?

All the fantasy cards are still in the DB, I assume we're allowed to post any and all fantasy cards in the DB? I also noticed other threads about the 2014 Future Stock cards in the forum from 2017 stating that they were fantasy cards. Is it impossible to remove cards once their added to the DB? These cards cheapen the validity of the DB... I for one sought some of these fantasy cards thinking they were real simply because they were in the DB. Wasted some money and lowered my opinion of the DB. Now that I see they are still in the DB, it's lowered my opinion of the DB even more.

Maybe there was a change of thought. Not sure exactly what all the criteria is. There are "art" cards listed but they were listed in sets, which I gather is not a "one shot" printing. So they would be ok. I'm not a collector, so rather uninformed.
I wouldn't have a lowered opinion of the TCDB, considering all the good it has to offer.

I never bothered to chime in, but I've never cared if ACEO cards were included in the database as long as they had their own section like unlicensed cards (or put in the unlicensed section), AND had a disclaimer at the top stating what the cards are and let the members decide if they feel right having them in their collection.
Conterfeit cards or reprints though I do think they need to be taken off the site (reprints as in homemade reprints, ones Topps and such make I'm okay with in terms of allowing them). Some ACEO cards though are sometimes for players that never get cards or for things that don't have cards, and those are the ones I'd be fine with allowing on the site.

Royal Card Review is my blog if you feel like checking it out, thanks if you do!- royalcardreview.blogspot.com/ In the process of updating my collection so don't trust any of my lists right now.
