I've noticed several ACEO cards listed in the database (primarily due to me collecting Indianapolis Indians).  There is one Helmar Brewing set listed, several Monarch Corona sets, and a 2014 Future Shock set.  All are Art Cards, Editions and Originals (ACEO).  I tried to find a list of cards allowed/not allowed in the database but have been unsuccesful.  Are ACEO cards allowed?

Admin has said no. If those others are ACEO, then they should be reported for removal.

Is this Removal List suppose to be funny? Why would we remove TCDB business cards?

These are not ACEO and will not be removed.

I have alerted Admin to this thread and hope there will be something "official" in writing soon.

What's the difference between ACEO cards and the unlicensed bootlegs of the 1990s that we do allow? Is it that ACEOs are printed to order and the bootlegs of days past were all printed at once? 

I don't really know anything about ACEOs...actually thinking of adding some to my collection. 

Some of the ACEOs are very, very nice like the Helmar Brewing cards... the printer uses 6-8 layers of paper and then distresses them to make them look like 19th centrury cards.  He only sells them as individual cards and only on eBay.  Some of the ACEOs are nice cards printed on a printing machine, like the Monarch Corona cards, also sold individually on eBay.  Some are cards printed on photo paper via a computer printer, like the Future Stock cards, Porto Rico Cola cards, etc.

Problem is, if TCBD is trying to identify and record all known authentic sports cards, ACEO cards shouldn't be listed as authentic cards; they're nothing more than fantasy cards.  In my opinion, we should work to ensure the integrity and validity of the cards listed on TCDB, not contribute toward misleading future collectors by adding ACEO cards.
