I'd recommend checking a place like https://groupbreakchecklists.com/ to see how many cards your team may have in the break. Sometimes I pass due to a product not having many hits for my team.
I have had good luck in several breaks. I hit a superfractor in one break which I promptly sold as I bought this other team to fill the break out. I was glad I did. That prospect super netted me around $500 to spend on cards I'd actually want. Then again I've been in breaks and pretty much got nothing. Heck I've even been in Pokemon breaks and scored some cool cards. LOL

Wow, I didn't know there were Pokemon breaks. I know there are Bench Warmer breaks though.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Instead of teams, what do you select? Cup size?

Haha. No, just the girl. And this current release is a mess because it's a small base set and a bunch of buybacks, so literally anyone who has ever had a card could be in there. Meaning your odds aren't very good.

ive done a few with Sports Breaks Unlimited. the most recent one was Topps Series 2, i paid 29 bucks for all the Phillies. got 3 hits and all the base, which is all i was really looking for. got a Realmuto Manufactured patch, Steve Carlton red 1984 Jersey relic, and Hoskins 150 Anniversary metal plate. plus a Harper silver pack card. the guys who run the breaks are nice guys too.

For a Pokemon break there are 12 types so they only sell 12 spots and they are randomized mainly. Then you get the shiny cards for that type. The rest of the cards are split up evenly between the 12 spots as well. I used https://www.nostalgicfactory.com/ for the one I got in. It was actually pretty fun.

Hi, I have been doing a few breaks lately. I found a break on ebay done by P2JSportscards. The reason I decided to try them out is that you can get a random team for 3.00 to 5.00, depending on the card manufacturer. I bought 4 spots for 17.00 for Topps Inception. Just one box, which has 7 cards in it. He randomizes the list 10 times and that determines which team or teams you get. So far I've done okay, both times I've ended up with a card. I did a couple of Panini Signature Series breaks and got a card both times. The last time I only spent 3.25 for 1 team and still got one. Most of the other breakers sell teams and for a decent team they want big bucks. P2J charges the same amount for all teams and there's a chance you will get a good team without having to spend a lot of money. They have other breaks where there are more cards in the boxes. I just like the ones that don't have many cards in them.
