Ok, since I am feeling bold in my ignorance and search for knowledge... who wants to be my mentor?
If I go, I will be a commuter. One day or maybe two staying nights at my home some 120 miles away. I might take a work day off, I might just go Saturday. I'm a '5' and I don't need to commit... or do I? I've got a ton of questions like, do I have to buy a ticket early or can I pay at the door? According to the website it's $19 a day and $13 to park. Can I get through, with lunch for as little as $50 for the day? Are there food vendors? What about other non-sports collectible enterprises like carnival games or toys or athletic apparel or anything else you can imagine - sprinkler salesmen, say? When I think of a card and collectible show, I see aisles and rows of tables with boxes and albums and maybe bobbleheads and helmets and framed pictures of the '72 Dolphins.
And who is in charge of these elusive t-shirts? Will the Database have our own booth? Can I come and go on a daily admission (commuter, not VIP pass) If I want? Who have you met? What can you not miss?
I will welcome a private message from anyone. Is this appropriate inquiry and commentary here or should I instead move this to a separate post?
