- When you allow your wife to buy stuff just to get the box and cardboard for packaging.
My wife was going to thrown out a couple of boxes and folded cardboard but I told her WAIT I can use them. Some of the stuff she buys is over packed but it is great for me.

When your bedroom is upstairs and your cards and all else (you hold dear) is downstairs and when you get up in the morning you could make your way blindfolded and not miss a step.

...if you have already thought about transportation & parking at the National next July/August.
...if Dick Ruthven holds a special place in your heart, because his 1981 Topps card is the first specific card you remember owning, even though you aren't a fan of any team he played for.

Mine’s Steve Miura 86 Topps. I got it from my Uncle. Still have it and it’s beat to hell. Also looking forward to hearing about your card project. I’m going to assume astrieks are involved.

No, I plan to add one needed base card from every flagship Topps set to my collection next year, across all sports and non-sport. Not Stadium Club or Gypsy Queen or anything. Not parallels or inserts. Just pack-released regular Topps card sets. It's daunting because I have no idea how many sets this involves. And I'm cramming to get my Topps collection entered here by the 23rd.

Started in 1951, one set a year ever since. Since you're not counting update/trade sets, math is actually pretty easy on that one. :)
2019 will be the 69th set (unless you don't count the Blue Backs / Red Backs for 1951, then this will be the 68th).
Getting 68 or 69 cards doesn't sound too tough. And depending on how sensitive you are to condition, it could be real easy.
