-Or you have blank spots in your binder reserved for those cards to begin with.
-Or you go to put a newly acquired card into its appropriately spot in a binder, just to find that you already have it.

When you see someone chewing gum and all you can think about is the good old days when Topps had a stick in a pack.
Or when you were younger and saw someone chewing gum, you wondered what cards they had in their pocket.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

-when looking thru a price guide and honestly can't remember if you have several cards listed at $100+
-the only house fire/flood plan that exists in your mind revolves around saving your cards

I am so glad to see this! I started leaving empty spaces for cards on my wantlist and now have multiple binders full of nearly empty plastic sheets. I thought I was being ridiculous wasting all that space for cards that I might not ever have - but apparently it's not just me!

When your girl gives you $60 dollar to buy her nephew a birthday cake but you "accidently" misplaced the money cuz you bought a box of Topps Inception instead
