Some of you know me, at least by name. I have been MIA from the site for quite a while. I offer the following explanation, mostly because trades were impacted by my absense.
We had run into safety concerns involving my wife's ex-husband, particuarly when related to my stepdaughter. Police have been involved. Custody is being changed, and despite our expectation to be granted full custody based on his actions, he is still fighting and denying allegations.
My other daughter that many of you know suffers from an extremely rare autoimmune disease affecting her brain, still isn't better. Several more trips to Duke University (we live in Columbus Ohio) have been made. No definitive answers have happened yet, although the prognosis is still classified as 'hopeful' by the experts.
I had to step away from collecting temporarily. I had to sell a lot of my collection (well, chose to anyway). I have kept my Buckeye and Cardinal collection, and don't anticipate needing to get rid of those.
I logged on briefly on Thursday, got too depressed to do anything with any message, and logged off almost instantly.
I will be contacting the affected traders in the next couple of weeks to make things right. I do intend to build my personal collection back up to include tradeable assets over the next year or so, and will be offering trades again as I can (with me insisting on sending first). Some of the trades I was able to pull the cards expected, some I didn't, and will compensate based on individual conversations. Fortunately none of my trades involved anything of significant value, but that's only a mild excuse.
