Personally I think it’s nice of the admin to give points out for people volunteering and helping out the site. A thank you that doesn’t cost admin any money. However when someone just tries to game the system it hurts all users and the site. Let’s put the ego(s) aside and try to put the site’s needs ahead of any points. We all win in the end if this site attracts new collectors. That can only be done with a quality site submission. It all matters, (from a quality photo of card(s), true and valid price(s), great information or kind words of friendship) to the growth of our site and our hobby. gb24, you know how to do a scan correctly so do it correctly. Everyone else try to be understanding. This maybe the only good thing gb24 has going in his life. You just never know so be kind. 

Good post. The thank you for helping out is important.  But I'm thinking there should be some process for throttling back some of the permissions of some of the Point Farmers.  There are several  names that when I see the name I now look almost assuming there will be something wrong that will need to be fixed

The thing to remember is that they have been doing this for many years, going back to when membership was small. Admin has to be aware of it, and has had years to stop it, if he wanted it stopped.  But he hasn't.  Possibly personal friends/family of Admin's, for all I know.
