“ I am sure he is a great guy...but Dave Otto looks a little....Evil.(Cue Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated jingle here) ” -rmpaq5

“ not a big fan of this 88 Fleer card front design. it reminds me of a bunch of stuff like tooth paste, barber polls, candy canes and so on. but nothing baseball related ” -abide

“ This set's style screams 80's. But it actually looks OK compared to some other sets from today. I like the stats on the back and then of course it is a prospect card of the man, who probably has the best gamer looking glove of all time. ” -TwinKiller

“ 3rd in a string of rookie of the years. Canseco, mcgwire, weiss... what a run. ” -parsley24

“ Multi-player rookie cards are the best! ” -jayoneill

“ Nice Fleer card. Even though it was the super overproduced era they hadn't yet gotten to ludicrous inserts yet. Actually the insert bug was sort of tame (they hadn't gotten the idea for relics yet) it was mostly the numbers of individual cards printed that was ludicrous at that point. ” -captkirk42

“ A classic good twin/evil twin card. I’ll let you decide which is which. ” -Tscastle

From 1986 to 1993 Fleer sets, the 1988 Fleer set is the one I like the most for design and quality. The fronts are clean and the backs are relatively easy to read.

Underrated set and this was one of my favorite cards growing up. Loved watching Weiss turn the double play
