Year: 2012-13

Set: Topps Match Attax Premier League (Rate)

Card: #16 Santi Cazorla

“ I like Match Attax, even though I don't own any. Good looking card. And I'm sure Gunny will appreciate the Gunner. ” -switzr1

“ Very talented midfielder, played around 6 seasons with Arsenal now with Villarreal. Love these Attax cards, this attributes "Freestyler" to the dear Santi. ” -Gunny

“ I never understand why most soccer cards are these game cards. Can anyone in the comments let me know if they have actually played any of these sports games? ” -davidhandberry

“ It must be ol' Santi...Cazorla? ” -mkaz80

“ I don't understand why they don't make real trading cards for soccer players. ” -C2Cigars

“ After a leave of absence of about 3 months (give or take) RCotD brings back the Match Attax Soccer card. Today we feature Arsenal's very own Senti Cazorla. Just look at those numbers. And Boy What a Freestyler he is. ” -captkirk42

“ Not a big fan of the front. I understand it is designed the way it is because it is a game card but the skills are way too big to make it appealing to the eye. The back has little relevant information which is understandable because it's a game card back. These are nothing I have a great desire to collect. ” -BSwagger

“ didnt have this pickachu variation... ” -parsley24

“ One of my favorite players of the last decade. ” -deporcoruña

“ Oh boy, here we go. It's been awhile. ” -muskie027

The player pictured looks just as confused about the card design as I am.  I can imagine a bubble caption over his head saying, "Thunderbolt me the heck outa here."

Didn't know they played soccer in such ominous weather.

Don't like this design ... but I do like the player a lot. Cazorla ruptured his achilles severely and doctors had to repair the muscle and skin tissue with a part of his fore-arm I believe. Including a patch of one of his tattoos. It's a miracle he can still play at the level he does. Fantastic creative midfielder. His passing score on the card should be way above his speed score.

A rare image of Santi Cazorla not injured!!

A great little player I always enjoyed watching, and I'm not an Arsenal fan.

Part of a nice set.

The operation he had for his achillies resulted in an infection. They almost amputated his leg. That's why he was out for so long. His first stint with Villareal, before they sold him to Arsenal, was incredible. He's one of the reasons they made Champion's league on a consistant basis. Those were his best years.
