“ Ugg. Tigers traded Ron LeFlore to the Expos for Dan. Nothing against Mr. Schatzeder, but Ron LeFlore was great. Detroit native. Sure, he had problems. But he also batted .300, stole 70+ bases. Schatzeder 17-21 over 2 years with ERA 4.51. Tigers got Larry Herndon for him, but still. Another reason to hate Sparky Anderson. 4 potential HOFers (Morris, Trammell, Whitaker, Parrish) plus Gibson. And you win 1 pennant. You trade away Steve Kemp (age 26) and Jason Thompson (age 25) because you have "too many left-handed bats in the lineup". Then wait 4 years and get big left-handed hitter in Darrell Evans. ” -cjjt

“ Was never a fan of postcards being on the site, but this one is amazing. Old Expos uniforms and the great late 70's early 80's stats. Not sure if the back was scanned or not, usually postcards have the place for the stamp and stuff on the back. This is cool. ” -muskie027
