Heads up to any big Sandberg collectors…

A local friend (I promise it’s not me and I’m not self promoting) has a very cool Ryne Sandberg auto’d jersey/hat/etc. combo that he is selling on eBay. *Fair warning, it is priced very high based on an estimate he says he got from a potential consignment or auction house, not sure which*

I won’t post a link because it’s not my listing. But he showed me the items a month ago when I went to his house to buy some vintage cards from him. If I remember correctly (it has been a month since he told me the details and I might not be remembering everything), it is the complete or near complete uniform Sandberg wore in the first interleague Cubs/White Sox series or game in the late 90s, with a lot of the stuff autographed (jersey, hat, can’t remember about pants and socks).

It’s a really awesome and unique set. I even think he has an official Cubs letter about the item which came with the original purchase.

I told my friend I would post here in case there is a big time Sandberg collector who might be interested but might not run across the actual listing. 

Again, I know nothing about the asking price since he is the one who got the appraisal - it could be way overpriced, not my call! But just wanted to post here — even if it doesn’t sell, I think Sandberg/Cubs fans would appreciate seeing such a cool item.
