One of the most enjoyable parts of being on this site is getting the chance to meet members face to face, chat with them, make a trade, share a meal, or take in a ballgame together (and purchase every set the team store had).

And today, I had the pleasure of making another in-person trade (and having lunch) wirth jimetal7212! For anyone counting, that's 11 members. I'm thrilled that I have gotten the opportunity to meet all of these people in person as it confirms how grea tthe people are on this site. Everyone has been super awesome to talk to, and has the right attitude toward collecting, being generous to a fault!

I hope that the opportunities to meet other members of this site continues for me. There are countless others who I feel like I have already met because we communicate so frequently - hopefully we'll have that opportunity someday. It's always a great day for me when I get to meet someone from here.

Thanks, Jim, for your patience in this - it was a quick summer (for me) that had every weekend booked for us (we started the trade back in April!). Glad it finally happened.

I have met one member. I would have to look him up to get the name right. We took a photo and I meant to send it to the member that did the Database Cards each year. I purchased a 1972 Baseball Starter Set. I am a truck driver and travel I-26 through NC into SC where I run through multiple towns making my way to Myrtle Beach for the night. I then travel back through Florence, Sumter, and finish in Camden before heading back to East TN. I do this Mon-Tue and again Thurs-Fri. I would love to meet up with any member for lunch sometime. Making a live trade would be a plus, also.

Meeting up with fellow TCDb users is great! So far the only member I've met in-person that I didn't know before joining the site is c2cigars, but I've been fortunately to meet up with three others, and I hope to get to see more if there are good opportunities to do so.

cjjt  We traded before I join here.  He was the one that showed me the site.

Tigerfan22   I delivered him a box full of cards.  Pick up food on the way home to make the wife happy.

I got 2 other local guys to join but they did not stay long.   It was not their type of site.    The last show I went to I meet several more guys who had join but not active as again they were too busy just selling (shows and E-Bay)

Yes, always cool to meet up with other members from the site. Was able to meet up about two weeks ago with Scrubeenie and chat for a little bit, in the process making a trade, and we then made our way to our respective seats for the Rangers/Brewers game. In the process I got to knock off another baseball park (Globe Life Field) on my list. Only two more to go before I have been to all of the current MLB parks, and Dan, you're not terribly far from one of them.  ToppsrBest - Perhaps November? Granted right now we have only one card each between us to trade for.

I went to a card show a bit ago and I saw a person with a tcdb list. I did not introduce myself but I smiled.

When I joined this site meeting people was the fartherest thing from my mind. I have had the pleasure of meeting one member twice to purchase cards from. Single card purchase both times. We talked for a bit after the sale which is great. Always nice to meet people with the same interests as me. Hopefully in the future there will be more meet ups.
