Is it just a recent thing or what? I've had 5 trades in the last few weeks declined after going pretty much my first 20 or so on the site without issue. Here's what gets me. Decline with no response or attempt to counter....at least give some feedback into why you decline the trade so that I (we) know how to work a trade out. That's all i'm here for, trading some cards....if a .10 discrepancy between trades irks you, let me know. Does anyone else face this issue from time to time or is it just me?

I do get a little annoyed when someone declines without a comment. Usually just means I will never propose another deal to that person in the future because now I really have no idea what they are looking for.

I'm very knew to the site but I wouldn't just decline an offer without giving a reason for it. First off, I feel that would be rude, but also like stated here how can you adjust a trade to work if you don't know what's wrong with it.
I'm on a fixed income, so I have limited funds. I was able to go forward with a couple transactions this week. I have a couple others purposed. So I mailed them and explained I'd have to wait. Two seconds of my time.

It's definitely not a recent thing. I'll even send a follow-up message and nothing. If you have cards on your want/trade lists and don't have your trades shut off why wouldn't you reply? I don't mind if someone doesn't want to trade with me, but let me know why. My opinion is declining with no reply is just rude.

It does happen from time to time. It can be frustrating, especially if you have a fairly specific wantlist. However, I've never dwelled on it too much - just trying to find the next person to trade with.

I don't mind declines - sometimes we're just not a match. But I agree- please just put a comment in there! The site even defaults to a comment box when you accept or decline, so it doesn't even take an extra step.

It's not so much the straight decline with no comment that bothers me, it's the ones who just ignore your offer but log in every day. A little courtesy and communication is all it takes.

That's my thing....90% of the cards I'm looking for (if not more) are common cards. If you have it in your for sale/trade list....and I have it in mine....agree with the communication thing...I guess I over-communicate!

Courteousness is probably a social skill we take for granted, like holding a door open for someone or even saying "Good morning" in passing. Not everyone is courteous, or wishes to be, so their actions on this site might resemble what they're like in person. Whether or not one wishes to be courteous or not here, rejecting a trade without comment risks the burning of a bridge for future trades with that trader. Someday he/she may have that card you really want, so it's best to keep civility intact just in case in my opinion.

Yes !!! It is frustrating to find a card you want and have cards for them. You make an offer you think is fair and it is declined with no reason why. Even more frustrating when your collection is narrow in focus and cards are hard to come by.
I would say it is more frustrating to have them just set there when they keep logging in every day.
I do not make offers that often now-days. I send messages instead of offers. Getting replies are getting better but still under 60%.
