I made it to the show about 3:00 yesterday. I was satisfied with the show size. The room they had was filled with card dealers. The coin dealers had to be moved to the mall lobby area. Newer stuff dominated the show but there was a nice mix of newer products and vintage products available. I bought from 2 dealers with my main focus on getting closer to completing a 1979 baseball set. Based on what I saw there I am moving up the organization of my partial football sets from the 70s on my to do list.
More and more I feel less interested in new releases and a greater desire to work toward completing those older sets. I saw a young man open a hobby pack of I believe Illusions football. He paid $40 for the pack and his big hit was a Treylon Burks patch card. For me, those prices are completely out of hand.
Storage supplies prices seem really high to me as well. It's almost worthwhile to buy junk collections that were stored well just for the boxes, pages and albums.
The show had something for all collectors which was nice. I think they are having another show in April so I am going to work to get more of my vintage organized and be back to work on some of that.
