Former MLB groundskeeper here who was fortunate enough to integrate my collecting hobby with my employment and relationships forged with players, coaches, and personnel (having a young son whom the players gravitated to didn't hurt either). I worked for 3 clubs (Marlins, Royals, & A's) as well a few local colleges. My last stop was in 1998 (AA Oakland affiliate Huntsville Stars). My boss was former Twins slugger Don Mincher. That team was managed by Jeffery Leonard (One flap up, one flap down). Some of the notable players were Eric Chavez, Tim Hudson, Mark Mulder, Miguel Tejada, & Ramon Hernandez. Lots of great memories...
That said, I'm offering a number of autographs obtained through the late 80s & 90s. Lots of familiar stars, semi-stars, and minor leaguers. The majority were obtained in person by myself, the rest by my son (which explains the duplicates). All these signatures are the real deal. I collect everything from my boyhood (60s, 70s, & 80s). Primarily Detroit sports teams as Al Kaline and Gordie Howe were my favorites. Oddballs and Food issues are always welcome. My current hobby goal is the 1975 Topps mini set with approx. 50% complete. Always looking to upgrade the poorer condition cards.
