When I logged into COMC this morning, I got a banner notification to set up some free holiday sales (non-holiday sales have a cost associated with them). They have a few options for sellers, including a Fall Preview Sale, Thanksgiving Sale, Black Friday Sale, and Cyber Monday Sale.

I'll be running a Black Friday Sale on my store, from Friday 11/26 to Sunday 11/28, if you're interested in shopping COMC. I'll post another link when it goes live, but if anyone else wants to share their sale, feel free. Otherwise, consider this informational if you were wondering about the sales.

This being said, I don't know if they'll be doing a Black Friday deal for buyers like they used to - I believe you could request your shipment at that time and get free shipping, or maybe you had to have a certain amount of items to ship, I don't remember. Anyway, I don't see anything with regards to that right now.

I don't usually run sales, but I figured I would for the first one at least.  I might even run another one on Black Friday, it depends on how much I spend.  I doubt they'll run a free shipping event because they haven't in the last few sales (even before the pandemic), but it is nice to see the shipping time is under two months.  I hope to find a few deals and maybe finish a set or two.

I have my COMC store (wjsenke) items for sale between now and Cyber Monday, taking advantage of the free sales this time of year.  A bunch of vintage football available there and some odds and ends!

Figured since the sales have started I'd link to my page, nothing super special, but I have a few deals.  I might have another sale with a few other cards depending on how sales go and how many cards I buy for myself.  Probably going to ship what doesn't sell by the end of the year.

Has anyone had any good sells yet, or find any deals?  I sold one card in the first round of sales, but not yet this round.  I don't really expect to, but I'm also not seeing a ton of deals.  Are people waiting for the actual Black Friday sale to have better ones?

My first sale was sales starting at 15% off, and this round starts at 20%.  Its weird how COMC does the % off sales to me, I'd rather all your cards be 15% or whatever off instead of a sliding scale. Depending on how this round of sales go, I'm not sure if I'll do the other 2 rounds, or if I do I'll mark them down more.

It's nice to see right now their shipping times is hovering around the 30-35 day mark which was their goal.  I didn't think it would happen, but I do have to give them credit for making it happen.  I'll probably wait until after Christmas to ship just in case I want to buy a few more cards and drain my account.

I have been on COMC for past few days sifting through my rather long want list.  Finding many great sales.  A couple of my wants were 40% or more off.  Happy to be able to grab a few low PR, SN, AU parallels that would normally be out of my budget range.  

I have none for sale.   

I have purchased 6 cards so far during the sales.    1 good deal,  3 fair deals,  the 2 others I paid more then I wanted but I have been watching them for some time and the sellers Do not go down very far. 

There are about 10 others I'm waiting to see if they come down more.  I have over 2,800 cards on my watch list.  I have been spending a few hours per day since the 12th looking for great or good deals..  So far only one card fit that area.     Like trading here my want list is not helping me out to get the great deals some people are getting.

Thanks for posting your link, I found a new Salvador Perez card to add to my collection!  I've seen a few deals, and bought a couple items.  I'm a little confused at their wording on the shipping credits, but I think I'll wait until around the new year to have my cards shipped, so I can get them a week or two before my birthday.

I decided to put a few more cards up for sale.  Prices are a little more than I normally charge, but I don't really want to sell some, so I threw out a few crazy numbers, that way if someone wanted them, I'd still be happy.

I hope everyone selling makes some good sales, and those buying find some good deals.  I've bought a couple, so I can't complain now.
