I am getting back into the hobby and happened upon a 2021 Topps silver pack superfractor autograph of Ryne Sandberg. I'm debating keeping it or selling it. Selling it would fund me buying more cards. The problem I'm running into is figuring out a realistic price. Since it's 1/1 I can't find any comps on eBay. Is there some other way that I am not aware of to figure out if it's worth it to sell? Thank you

Sandberg is very popular player. Ebay has a lot of eyes on it. If you want to find out the closest to "true value", put it up as an auction starting with a low bid, and the market will drive the price to where it will sell.
You can also look for other sold listings of AU, SN1 Sandberg cards, to see where they sold and give you a balpark of about what yours would sell near (most likely near).
All the best with that card. Nice pull!

Looking at eBay completed sales of 1/1 Sandberg autographs, it looks like anywhere from $200-$400. I would guess on the higher end because of the superfractor effect of the card you have, which folks seem to value higher.

The best way to value a 1/1 would be look at other 1/1s of the same card but different player. Then look at a few different cards of the two player and see about how much higher or lower that player sells to the player you have. Then value it based on percents/ratio.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm glad that it seems like I can trust eBay for the most part. It's a pretty cool card, I'd keep it, but thinking about how many more packs of cards it could buy me makes me drool a little.

I would definitely recommend over-pricing it on eBay, and see what someone offers you for it. I am willing to bet there are a lot of Sandberg collectors out there who'd love to have that card, making it pretty liquid.
It also depends on how quickly you want the card gone. If you put it up for auction, expect to get less for it, but you'll definitely get rid of it quickly. If you overprice it and wait for an offer you like, you could hold it for any length of time, but you'll make more from it. From there, its a matter of how "liquid" a card is. In this case, it doesn't sound like you are in a huge rush, and the card is fairly liquid. I'd take my chances with the high buy it now price with best offer route.

I'll agree that $200-400 is about the minimum you CAN get for it. Before reading all other replies after your first post, I thought to myself that I would give $150-200 for it if I was buying cards right now. I am a somewhat casual collector of Ryno though. I would basically only want it to add an AU and a 1/1 to my Sandberg collection. A hardcore Ryno collector would shell out a lot more cash for that card than I would. I agree with others at starting with a BIN around $1K and OBO.
Congrats on the pull as well! I've yet to pull a 1/1 of any kind in all of my years collecting cards. I've pulled lots of really good cards and a few great ones over the years, but I've never even pulled a cheapo 1/1 base parallel. Let us know what happens with the Superfractor!

I'll agree that the "superfractor" factor is definitely a factor and extends the value a bit. Maybe quite a bit. I'd also throw in that if you're gonna sell it, I would sell while the card and set are still relatively new and fresh. Lots of eyes looking at the ahi but new releases vs two years from now. Not to put pressure on you, you'll have no problem selling it whenever you decide if that's the route you go.
