I don't want to come off as too critical but tcdb pricing is a terrible benchmark for valuation of a collection you are selling. If you really need to sell for cash you may want to evaluate a little more closely or determine a better and quicker way to sell your collection. I will give a few examples of what I mean (assuming the value is from what I see from clicking stats on your for sale/trade page:

I'm not sure if these prices are inflated because they include an average including some graded "10" cards or what? I'm not even positive the stat values are what are being used in your TCDB value but I suspect so. I really am not trying to ruin your post in any way, I'm just thinking you may be thinking you struck gold and it might be fools gold.

Maybe another member can determine if indeed the TCDB values used are also the stat values?

I think if you really need cash knowing a true value of your collection would help you sell it more quickly.

These are not the site's reported prices, but Cade's prices that he's added for these cards.

I doubt anyone would be able to get $30 out of a 1990 Donruss Bo Jackson, but everyone is entitled to asking whatever price they desire.

Dan beat me to it. That same card can be found on COMC for less than $1, and probably for $0.18 on SportLots (though I didn't check).

As such, I don't know that you'll find too many takers to go with $0.54 per card for the era that most of your FS/T list seem to come from (1980-1993). I echo BSwagger in that sense, that you may want to take another look at your asking prices to move these a little quicker. 

Also, you should adjust your links. Currently, the hyperlinks in your original post take any user to their FS/T list for that specific sport, not yours. I wish you well, as it sounds like you may have some financial needs, but I don't know that you're going to get what you're seeking with these prices right now.  

The listed "value" at $1,606 USD is in fact what tcdb is pricing them at for my for sale/trade list. I did not set those higher prices. I'm offering the best I thought would be fair, hence the steep discount, 38% off & that approximation seems fair. I know that tcdb prices can be listed as WAY to high, above some card prices, and what they actually sell for, online. (i.e. eBay, COMc, etc). Thank you.

Not 100% true. You have the 1990 Donruss Bo Jackson listed as $30.00. The site has that card listed at 99 cents. Same is true for the 90 D Dawson, you have it listed at $8.00 but the site's "pricing" on it is 15 cents. I'm not going through all the cards listed, but just those 2 show a difference from $38.00 asking price to $1.14 site's price. That's quite a difference, and one that you may wish to investigate. All the best is moving your traders.

All I can say is.   Ask the price you want and see if any one is willing to buy.

Side note:   I have 9,366 cards listed for sale/trade  TDCB price $9,549.67.   I would take half of that and throw in another 100,000 cards.   

I am with you, Mine are worth Over 60k on tthe pricing here. But if I were to sell I would probably be happy with anythign 5k-10K. But that aint happening anytime soon. Jeff

Thank you all for your input.  I understand that the prices valued on here, TCDB are very inaccurate (outdated, etc.).  I also appreciate your input and I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one that sees this.  I will consider lowering my asking price.  I just need to move these cards, but still get a fair deal on them. ** On the 1990 Donruss Bo Jackson, yes, I do realize that I inadvertently raised that one WAY TOO high.  oh my.  Thank you for bringing that to my attention.  Good luck to all, and happy collecting!  I am very glad I'm here and can be a part of this trading card and collecting community.  Kind regards, Cade
