Pretty new here so I need an explanation.

On the trade matching list there are check boxes -- what is their purpose? It seems like a great way to check the players on both side you want to include in a trade offer but I can't find a submit button after checking the boxes.

I don't know the answer to your question. I don't check those lists too much since my collection is not well organized.

I don't think those check boxes function unfortunately, I've tried many times no luck. 

I use them to keep track of cards I'm pulling for a trade. Pull the cards, check the boxes. They're very handy, especially for larger trades. They wouldn't be used in place of the status button to submit a trade. 

yarga07, those are simply a view for a potential trade. You can visualize using the buttons to highlight certain cards as you seem to have tried. However to make a trade you have to go to the potential partner's profile page and click on "Propose Trade" to begin the offer.
