Today, I mailed 1 large trade, 1 medium-sized trade and 4 PWE.

4 x PWE (64 cards total) = $5.88/64 cards = $0.0919/card

Medium trade (188 cards) = $13.08/188 cards = $0.0696/card

Large trade (1326 cards) = $30.07/1326 cards = $0.0225/card

Yes it does take longer to finalize the larger trades but for 1300+ cards that you need, it is well worth the effort.  Had the member I was trading with not been busy with other more important life business, it could have been finalized in a week easily once we started pulling cards.  I proposed the trade after getting confirmation that he would do it.

Anyone want to take the time ot make a large trade?

I'm pretty sure we've traded before.  You've got over 300 cards on my want list and I have a ton on yours. I'm always up for large trades but people have so many rules and dumb policies I get frustrated.  You make trade offers they don't answer. You e-mail first they don't answer that.  You offer it sits for weeks even though the guy signs in every day. You offer, they counter and it sits for weeks.  I get one or two offers a day and always respond as fast as I can.  I'd be thrilled if you offered a huge trade. I want to move stuff out.  LMK, Joe

Let me start by saying I am a big PWE fan. I think mostly because I am busy and like to be able to quickly pull and tarde cards on a busy schedule. I can also see that you are located in Canada. I have made a lot of PWE trades sending 18 cards non-machinable for $.70 postage which is just under $.04/card.

That is a big difference from your roughly $.09 per card but that is a crazy big savings to get your cost down to $.0225/card.

I wouldn't be against a big trade, I just have a tough time finding the time to pull over 1000 cards.

I would love to do big trades but with my want list I just get 1 or  3 cards at a time.   I have done a few large sales.

I ship small trades by putting the cards in a 9 pocket sheet and ship them non-machinable for $.70. Some members do something similar using thin cardboard. If cards are packaged properly it is a generally accepted good economical shipping method.

I'm always piggybacking on Bru's pleas to trade with our friendly Canadians. He's quoting Canadian values. We had a trade last year of 180+ cards each and it cost me $6.12 to mail in a large business envelope. That amounts to half what he posted on the OP, to $0.034.

I recommend you do it, and one of the great things about trading with our friends up north is that you get a lot of Canadian product that you wouldn't see in our neck of the woods, namely in the southwestern US in Texas. Just saying.
