Is there a way to edit the comment section for a mass number of cards in my collection? Such as, I entered 300 Topps 2018 Updates Series cards into my collection with nothing in the comment section. Now I wish to add a comment (location C-10, etc) for all those cards, preferably without doing each one individualy. Thank you

I was also thinking about something like this that would help me in my inventory. But I have been tossing around a different idea that may work better. I was thinking about making different collections and moving cards to that collection that are only under that identification.
If something is in binder #1 or Box #45, I think all I would have to do is move the card between collections. Or if I am adding to my trade list, I could start a new collection and just create a new identifier. Add in that the collections can now be reordered as I see fit, I think this may be better.

I use multiple collections...they're the way to go (for me)! The best things about collections is you can know exactly where a card physically is. Also, I use the "move duplicates in collection to Sell/Trade list" in order to quickly identify and remove duplicates. Let me know if you have any questions. Do what works for you and try new things on a small scale to see desired results. Yes, I'm a Collections expert lol

I've seen that in someone's Collection. Each Collection is a storage location. I can't remember which member it is that I saw that.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Wow, these are some great ideas on sorting collections and knowing where to find them on my shelf or box or binder. Great!

Thanks for the info. What do you mean by multiple collections? I see no way to name a collection or have more than 1 collection (except for sale trade wantlist etc)

When you click on Collection under your account menu at the bottom of the page a green button shows up that states "Add Another Collection." I use multiple collections sos I can keep track of where physically the cards are located. I also give a brief description of each collection. If you look under my goals section you will see I also add some abbreviations I use to add a bit more info to a card it if is needed. So a card may have a note that is something like Box BI-01 (MC). Which means the card is located in Box BI-01. The BI stands for Base and Inserts. The MC stands for Miscut. I started doing this because it made it very easy to located the cards themselves.

Wow, thanks for the help. However, there is no way to move multiple cards from one collection to another? I created a new collection, titled C9. I currently have 2,000 cards that are in my original main collection, in their comment section I have listed them as C9-1, C9-2 etc.. It would be nice and time economical to be able to mark all cards with C9 in comment field to be moved to the new collection C9.
AND, after moving 1 card from the search result (searched C9 in comments), when I try to do a second card, the list to move to only shows the original main collection, the C9 collection I created (which now has one card in it) is not in the list.

I think if you go to your collection where you have all of the cards, there are reports under the collection/want list/trade lists. Among all of the links that are for 'Cards in your collection..." or 'Sets in your collection..." there is a 'Search the comment field in your collection'. You may be able to move cards there between collections, but I haven't used it yet.

Thanks. No, I tried that. The only way I see how to move cards from one collection to another, is individually. Search comment field (C9 for example), a list of all cards with C9 in comment field appears. You can select only 1 card from the list, select MOVE TO ANOTHER COLLECTION, Select the collection you wish to move it to (C9), submit. It goes to the new collection and the page is refreshed with nothing but a search box. Then you have to start over from step 1. I did 30 cards and already have jackers cramp.
