Ditto on not receiving notifications about site messages nor checking alt email associated to my account. I dont know the guy but as everyone indicates this is abnormal for him, which gives my gut a bad feeling...tho hoping for the best or something important at least neither good nor bad. And to OP I don't think you're wrong to inquire with a community as tight as yall are (im newbie), and you didn't come across as anything but asking. Lastly while it shouldn't be done, people do mark things as complete (or sent in this case) sometimes prior to being finished. Very possible he had all intents to get it out in mail prior to whatever pickup time. Ever been asked if you took the garbage out while say the wife is en route home? I've said yes to that and then swiftly moved to take out the garbage. And if not marked as sent, you'd still be wondering where your cards are and why he's not responding. Let's wish for the best because at end of the day: cards < humans

I have traded with him recently. ....On 10/18 he sent a message saying "work has been hectic and getting ready for winter", he was apologizing for not shipping cards sooner, when the delay was on MY end.
He did ship the 18th and I have received my cards, but he has not reported getting mine.
I hope nothing has happened to this member, as he seems like a solid guy.
Given 2020 and all that it has brought, I would not give up on him yet.

Too quick a finger to give negative feedback especially given circumstances of our times and his lack of signing in to the site, and assuming his site settings are to be notified of emails received.

I appreciate everyone's insight. I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers. And I know that the post office around me especially does not have the best reputation.
I wouldn't be too upset if the cards never make it, as the ones I gave up we're not extraordinarily valuable or important to me. I think a negative review that I've offered to remove once I hear back is reasonable though. I'll remove it now for the time being since the consensus appears to be that the benefit of the doubt should be extended longer.

Good move, I think, especially given other people's comments vetting for the guy. I haven't had a bad trade yet, though given some of the comments and stories I've read in other threads, it seems like one will really *know* when it's a bad trade. This sounds like a situation worth waiting out, so it's good to hear about your change of heart for the moment.

No, not a reasonable assumption. Like others have stated, I too have email notifications shutoff.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

On another note. Has anyone heard from Card flipper 1974 (Robney)? I hope he is alright. He hasn't checked in in about 2 monthes. We've had numerous good trades. He marked my cards sent but never received them.

Hey guys. I wasn't meaning to go dark. I am alive. Been out and about but get home tomm for the 1st time in a bit. I understand the concern but have notifications off and quite simply cards weren't on my mind.
Although I am a combat vet, the military wasn't the case. I work in telecommunications now and have some large projects that are overwhelming me.
I'll reach out to you guys individually tomm but I usually wait to sort and put away before I mark transactions incomplete.
I may have missed sending something out, but I'll reach out Neal

Glad you're well Anthony.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
