Looking for large quantities of 1988 Topps #250 Nolan Ryan.
It's a hoarding project. I want to get as many as possible. The card means a lot to me.

Could you input cards you have for trade so someone can propose a trade?

Sorry about that - looking to buy, not trade.

Are you trying to drive the price up?

Nope, just a card that is significant to me personally and I thought it would be fun to hoard.

Cant speak for others but the hoarding part isn't resonating with me. The "special meaning to you personally" isn't much either but without asking more I can believe that part no issues there. Why tho the need to hoard with intent to restrict others from the joy of owning the card? Unless you intend to sleep on a mountain of nolans, seems more than odd that 1000 of the cards is that much better than 100. Also strange that you care about others not owning it. Without additional explanation, im kind of set on the restricting circulation for price manipulation idea already floated. But that wouldn't stop me from selling to you, lol, I'd only have like 2 or 1 (likely none) anyway. Why won't you buy my other Nolan's tho? ;)

I really don't think that someone having 1,000 or more of any card from 1988 will restrict others from having it in their collection. I know I have more than 1,000 of one card in 1988 and no one has had so much difficulty in finding it that they had to come to me for a trade to get it. Of the Ryan the OP s asking about, I have 17 for trade; I don't sell cards here. So even if he gets his 1,000 there will be some available to others.

emills01, I looked and don't have any for you. Blessings on the project.
Bru, I agree with your statement, and would add that the OP author's collection habit does not have to resonate with me; not even in 2020.

Good morning!
Humorously or factually, it may take a hoard of 1000 to find 1 mint (or if grading GEM) card.
This reminds me of that gentleman trying to acquire ALL the Tim Wallach cards.
Best of success on your project, unfortunately, I don't have any available at this moment.
Steven
