most of you guys/gals know my dilema i hate posting a lot of cards up at once because i am so NOT organized at all and i hate it but i try to get everything out 

I entered all of my traders first too as it gave me a reason to organize everything. I still don't have a lot of my actual collection on here but mostly use the collection part to keep track of a couple sets I'm collecting and my Chipper Jones collection. Welcome to all the new traders!

Since this thread got re-started and my last post in it is old, I'll give an update. ALL of the cards I own are listed on here now. Over 114,000 individual cards and over 83,000 cards still listed FS/T. I also have a bunch of "unopened product" listed here. I do have trades turned off again, but it doesn't mean I'm NOT trading or selling. I just deal with offers through PM's to start a transaction. Too many people tried to waste my time with pointless offers or completely ignore my "No PWE" rule. I love helping people complete (or get a lot closer to completing) team sets, base sets, parallel sets, insert sets and player collections. I stay busy moving cards in and out of here. But I am completely organized here and I can find cards even quicker now than I could before I added about 70,000 cards to my collection in 2 years' time.

To anyone on here, give me a ballpark idea of what you want of mine and I'll send a proposal if we have enough matches to make it worth my time to pull and ship them in a BM.

I'm adding 100 to 1000 cards a week to my trade list...yes, it does take time, but if you have everthing organized it's much faster.   Furthermore,  being organized also includes everything you have in your inventory / Trade List.  There is nothing more fustrating than having 1000s of cards listed an then having to dig and dig and dig to find them.  I keep several four row boxes and within these boxes the cards are all in number order and broken down by brand / then grouped by years, and so forth...I have one box for all the odd balls and subset cards too.  There is a method to my madness but it actually works well.  

A recent posit brought me here.. When I joined , I was excited to get my collection listed and organized in fashion like the database.. Then I learned the trading avenues on here. It was wow.. hmmmm .I didn't have much traders. Wanting to trade , I started hitting up garage sales, Facebook market posts for basement cleaning offers, etc.. The excitement to trade again was real.. Card shops had become far and few. Running out to salvation stores looking for cheap binders, buying  9 page sheets by the case. Exciting.. Then came covid. Crap.. well  there was TCDB in my life and having and assortment of sports to trade now in my possession. Wooo Hooo. The fun of visiting the mailbox when I could finally walk that far again with out the oxygen tube. 
I love the fun of trade while offering only a single card to trade with the communication of "shop to your desire on your wants, only getting it started for you". 
the response is all over on want the other trader chooses.. the fun of having an assortment of traders listed..

We all have  special, variety reasons for being here.  Mine ..... the fun of visioning being with my neighbors Randy, Brent, Tommy, school friends at recess, trading cards.. No price guide... Just "man o man, I want that card.. I'll give these for it! "

I'm brand new here and I'll I'm doing is listing my trade inventory.   I haphazardly put a wants list, but it's not accurate and I need to update it, but I'm spening 90% of my time putting up my trade cards.   Don't even think I'll load a personal collection. I'll  just let that build from trades.    If I get trading, I might add something not listed from my PC to trade, but it's pretty much lock and key.   I'll keep listing trade and just refer anyone to my favorites for now.   It's semi working, but I can't wait to be fully cataloged for wants and trades.

Great thread.  Lots of posts but worth the read.

I get the original frustration in some of the earlier posts, nothing worst than finding someone with 200+ cards you can offer them but they only have 1 or 2 cards back and nothing really to pick from on their trade list.

Right now I have a little over 7000 cards listed for trade and probably have another 30k that I could list but when I started on this site and started listing away, I found it very hard to pull the cards people wanted in return.  Even with the trades I have listed organized, it still sometimes takes me a few days to respond to offers.  As much as I'd love to list every card I have to trade, I'm not sure I'd be able to keep that organized enough to be able to pull trades.
That said, if I'm trying to finish off a set I will dig for extra cards from the same year/brand to try to assure that I can get the trades I need for those last few cards.
