Is there a designation that we can put in the directory for members that are willing to trade. I joined the site in April of this year and really enjoy making the trades and waiting for the cards to arrive. I was even able to meet a fellow collector in person to complete a trade. In the quick links, there is a list of the top members, and while looking through the collections (some are very impressive), I noticed that many of these members have yet to complete a trade. Was hoping to add a link (top traders??) where we could have another method of finding members willing to make those trades. Just a suggestion.

Admin did add a "Last login" on the profile pages so we can tell if someone is at least an "active" member. Maybe that can be another thing on the profile page - "Interest in Trading".
Personally, I like to send an e-mail to people before proposing the trade seeing if they are interested.

I look throught the 'completed transactions' page to see who has completed trades recently. That is a helpful area.
thanks, mark

I don't know if a "complerted transaction" will work as well as a "interested in trading".. or maybe both? if somoene is interested but hasn't had the oppornunity or the "right" cards to trade off, then naturally that stat will be lower compared to someone who does. Maybe something like= Interested >> Transactions Completed

Isn't it safe to assume that anyone who has cards flagged as 'wanted' or 'for sale/trade' is interested in trading?
I know that those lists aren't complete for most members, but is there anyone who is interested in trading that has no wants or traders listed?

Lea DeFoote,
I have come across several members who have cards listed in "For Sale/Trade" but none in "Wanted." And vice versa.
I look to see which members have completed transactions recently as a guide.
But I've offered trades to people who have never responded to offers or emails even though they login. I would appreciate a polite decline or no thanks. However, getting ignored accomplishes the same thing, though.
I can't complain, though, I've been a member since September and completed a bunch of trades with some great partners and it's helped me out a bunch. It's a great website. Wish I had found it sooner.

I will trade anytime!!!
However, most members know I am "a little slow" in pulling the cards for a trade/and or sale. BUT I will come through eventually. Just me, so many cards to offer collectors.
I agree, though reading the posts help to determine who is actively trading...then send a message out for trade proposals.
I'm presently looking for Heritage cards, especially large lots.
Thanks , ~BOB~

I would really like to make some trades for OU Sooners cards and/or Star Wars cards. Can I make a generalized 'want list' for these or do i need to research and list each card specifically?
