I have been collecting Super 7 figures for a while, last year they did a nice wave of vintage ball players and mascots, this year they did a modern wave of figures at retail and made a deal for a few of the modern wave in variant packaging and variant uniforms to be included as part of the collector boxes in the 2020 BLB product. They are retro figures that are very similar to the old Kenner Star Wars figures. My local shops are not selling many of the boxes because they only have 5 packs of cards in them, but I have amassed 6 of the 10 figures out there.
The card backs are in the 1982 Topps style and they include a "normal" picture and an "action" picture, which is a variant 1:5. I think they missed the boat by not offering signed figures as a super variant, but maybe down the line. The five players included are Aaron Judge, Jose Altuve, Buster Posey, Clayton Kershaw, and Cody Bellanger. Clayton Kershaw seems to be packed about a million to one so far from what I have seen.
Right now I am looking for both versions of the Jose Altuve and both versions of the Buster Posey. I have a "normal" Clayton Kershaw and "normal" Cody Bellanger for trade if anyone is interested.
