I can understand why some people are hesitant when it comes to joining breaks. High prices, bland selection, only "hits" ship, etc. Years ago on my blog, I started cheap breaks that I call "Affordable Group Breaks". I ran these for a few years before I decided to take a break. Within the last few months I've fired these up again, this time putting a little more effort into getting the selection of boxes varied, but most importantly keeping the cost down.
I break mostly baseball, but I'll mix in football from time to time. Sometimes we'll do new stuff, sometimes it's 90's/00's...but it's always cheap. Like a fellow collector/breaker friend of mine, I allow you to build up a stack if you will from break to break, then when you're ready to ship I'll send you a shipping invoice. This keeps more money in your pocket because you're not paying $4 or whatever in shipping charges on every break!
I break live on my YouTube channel just about every Friday night. I'm not in this to make money, but to help distribute cards of your favorite team at a low price. More importantly, it's all about having fun. Since I started up the breaks again, I've had so much fun...especially interacting with fellow collectors. Recently I've breathed new life into my Facebook group where I host the breaks. I also post on my blog as I know not everyone is or wants to be on Facebook, but I encourage you to join the group and check out what we have going on. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1923115197933037
I've got two breaks scheduled for this Friday, 07/17/20 - x2 Mega Boxes of 2020 Prizm and a box of 1994 Flair series 2. Prices start at just $2 and there are still several teams left in both breaks. Any cards from teams that go unsold will eventually end up on my trade lists here as I'm an active trader.
If you have any questions please let me know.
