Hello again fine TCDB members.

As I always do, here are the rules for this 3rd installment of the (in)famous Scavenger Hunt (a link to the second question will be at the bottom of this post). Please be sure to read all the rules (they aren't tricky, but they are specific).

Admin has created a new area (thanks Admin, you rock!) for running giveaways. I'm sure once we see how this one goes, we'll be able to roll it out for others to use. It will have the look and feel of the User List comment area. As the creator of the question, I can elect to display the answers or not. In this case, I will not display the answers until entries are closed. This will eliminate the copying that has taken place in the past, yet keep the answers public. You will be able to see who has answered, and in which order, just no answers will be visible right away. Additionally, replies in this system are not editable. Answers will eventually be visible to all. Please be aware of that when you respond. And in case you didn't know, I can see the answers before I reveal them, but I cannot edit them.

Rules are similar to the previous contests.

Answers will be reviewed in the order they are received. If someone submits any additional responses, only the last response counts, and the timing of that last response is what is used in determining order of receiving the correct answer. Since the responses will not be visible until after the Answering Window is closed, you may make whatever comments you like (keep it family-friendly, please) along with your answers - in fact, you won't want to make a second response else you may lose your qualification.

For this giveaway, there will be only 4 rounds, and Round 2 is the our first Advancement Round. Give the correct answer, and you'll move on to Round 3.

Also, since replies are masked until the window is closed, all members will be able to participate in all rounds now. You may no longer qualify for prizes, but you are able to participate and continue to have fun with the hunts without giving away any answers to those who are still competing for prizes.

Prizes for this hunt will mainly come from the "Griffey423 Stash", which this time around will include an autographed card for each of the top 4 finishers as well as an assortment of other cards. Top 5 will win prizes.

Please click on the following link, enter your response in the area below the question, and click the big blue Submit button. The answering window for this question will be open approximately 16 hours - it will close at approximately noon (EDT) on Thursday. Members who qualify for prizes and have moved on to Round 3 will be announced in this thread around the same time.

By the way, the one word I added after yesterday's debacle was the word "original" to describe the song. In my research, I saw that Weird Al had a song later in 1981 called Pacman, but it was not original as it was a parody based off the Beatles' Taxman.

I posted a question as to how many was going through to the next round. Then see what you wrote at the bottom and deleted it. 

But stupid not to be able to ask questions about the competition if your not sure about something as the competition is being held in a totally different thread

The idea is to not have the answers being posted anywhere but a location where they cannot be seen until the "reveal time". I don't know what you posted. And, as you noted, the question you asked was actually already in the post. There was no need to ask the question. I very carefully write my posts as to avoid the need to ask questions. Hence the "no discussion" in the previous "open" threads and now no replies until the answering window is closed. And with you editing it, I had no clue what you posted. You could have revealed the answer for all I knew. I couldn't tell. In the previous contests, the copycats got out of hand, and I could definitely tell who was copying and who was doing their own research. This is the only way I have to control that.
