i have a want list but i dont have my excesses cataloged. can someone please let me know the best way to have favorable trades for the individuals who are wiling to help me out. 

Can you easily share your want list?

Welcome to you both. If you're interested in adding to your collection via trades or purchases, simply go to your collection page and atop the right hand side you'll see a green button where you can get started. Once Want Lists or Trade/Sale Lists are posted you can set your Profile to match you to others' Wants or Trade/Sale Lists.

I have created my wantlist. How do I share it? 

The TCDB system will match your lists to others as long as they are set up to do so - I believe that's the default setting as I just matched with some of your wants.

You should also see matches with others if you go to the bottom of anyone's profile page to the Trading section near the bottom of the page.

Add your extras (cards you have to trade) the same way you added the cards on your wantlist.

I have also matched with a few cards that  you have on your wantlist. Once you get a trade list added, trades will happen. Eventually, someone will walk you through your first one with the Trade Manager (just like they did for me!)

Thanks to both of you for your support.  I have way too many cards to list that I have available,  but they are in alpha/numerical order.  However I can see your wantlist.  I do have 3 of the 4 John Smoltz  cards on your list.   I will keep looking and keep you posted.

If you don't put what you have for trade on this site, you will not get any trade offers.  Most of us like to be able to counter for cards we want more than others that you may offer.  I know it takes time to list everything for trade but the majority of us have done it and now enjoy trading on a regular basis.
