Hello, I;'m trying to find the thread on shipping using Ultra Pro II 9 pocket pages. I don't remember who it was that uses the 9 pocket pages to ship multiple cards with little shipping costs. Karsal has helped and I want to thank that member but the info provided wasn't quite what I was looking. Please help. I just sold several cards on ebay and need to ship using those pages. Thanks

Three cards per pocket should keep the envelope under 1/4".

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

The Commish also shipped me about 160 cards once all in 9-pocket sheets in an envelope to accomodate them unfolded. He paid under $6 to Canada.

Unfolded in a 9" x 12" envelope can go up to 3/4" thickness.

That is the wrong way to fold them. It's top down first, then bottom up. That way the openings of the pockets are all facing inwards and no card can slide out at all. I also wrap a piece of paper around it and a bit of tape to hold it all together. The max I've done in a PWE is 2 pages with 2 cards in each pocket. price is around two stamps. I also pass on the cercal box. That make it non-mailable and must be hand-sorted and cost more to send. Plus, I don't eat cereal there about as nutritious as the box they come in.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

A lot of people cringed when the price of a postage stamp went up to 55 cents. However, the price of the additional ounce is now 15 cents, down from 21 cents. So for 70 cents it's a great way to ship cards cheap. A few days ago I sent 5 cards in toploaders in a bubble mailer and cost was $4.06! I'm all for this method.

I still think the price of a stamp it cheap. For under a dollar you can mail something anywhere in the usa. People just like to complain about anything. It went up 5 cent, Wow how outrages. Really? lol.
bubble mailer are at a set price. until you pass the weight of the set bubble mailer. Then the pricing will go up.. I find two top-loaders is the limit for a PWE. After that I use a 6x9 yellow bubble mailer. 5 cards for $4.06 ouch! a PWE would have cost one stamp for 5 cards in a top-loader.

I just did my first trade on here. I placed the single card into a top loader and put it in a PWE. The post office charged me for first class package for $3.80 to ship to the next state over. What did I do wrong here?

It may have been size or you got a bad postmaster. I send my trades almost exclusively by PWE and send it not machineable for $0.70. I typically go 18 cards so just under $.04/card to trade.

Thanks for the response. I think our postal workers just don't know. It was a small envelope with one top loader in it. I'll use the kiosk next time.
