My family actually had a pair of of these when I was a kid, brother and sister, except ours were black. I got to name the boy dog, Chewbacca, but we always called him Chewie. Extremely loyal dogs, they look cute and fluffy most the time, but man they are fierce when they are in protect mode.

I had a Chow growing up. Truly a 1 family dog they are loyal and smart. My dog attacked 3 people breaking into the house and bit all 3. I could drag that dog anywhere with me but when i was in public I wouldn’t let anyone pet her and she would growl if anyone got close to me or the family. I would love to have another but no other chow will be my Mitzu. It took me almost 21 years to get another dog and still to this day i still miss Mitzu. She lived to be 17 years old with a pin and 1 lung because she got hit by a car before we got her.

Wow what a great set even though it's only 24 cards, very vintage. Everyone mistakes my boy for a Chow Chow, though there are some similarities between him and the Chow Chows ;) both are members of the AKS Non-Sporting Group, have double coats, and are members of the Nordic Spitz (a classification of dog).

Excellent dog for a pet. Plus there is the added bonus of your neighbors enjoying the constant "yap-yap-yap-yap-yap" sounds day and night. Chow Chow is a win win.
