Card companies are really missing out on a materiels insert set of MIke.  they could call it "pieces of schmidt".

The way his profile pops from the black and white background is great. Would love a Gary Carter or Mike Piazza in this. Even David Wright. Excellent card.

I do believe you and tinyshogun are forgetting a couple of guys who owned a bicycle company in Dayton, Ohio in the very early 1900's.

This set had some really great player pics. It grows on you, kinda like a fungus.

I am a huge fan.  I downloaded a Schmidt checklist from Becket in 2002.  It had 29 pages of 35 items per page or just over 1000 cards.  I just checked TCDB has over 9000 Schmidt cards listed and as someone said, more coming every year.  I haven't entered my Schmidt cards yet, but I suspect that although I've been collecting him for about 40 years, I doubt I will register more than 0.01 percent of the total available!  It is fun to find them though!  I have lots of dups too, if anyone wants to trade (Again, unlisted yet!)
