Cards with native flags are awesome.  I know Allen & Ginter did this one year with state flags and I love that set.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff.  Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

This is pretty much where it started, the late 90's Bowman sets, 300-400 cards of players, more than half prospects, the majority of which never made any major league impact, and several different types of parallels for each card, so now you have a bunch of different cards of this guy who never accomplished anything, but by this level of parallel it's rare enough to still cost $$$. Meanwhile, main issue sets were shrinking so the last 5-10 guys on the rosters got one card if they were lucky. It only got worse as time went on.

Gabby would seem to be out of uniform. And is he actually holding anything? Can't tell.
