When the Rockhounds played at Christensen Field in northeast Midland. Built with home plate facing north its a hitter's park with the wind carrying the ball out heavily inflating homerun totals. They now played at Momentum Bank Ballpark located west of Midland. Many homeruns have died going against the wind.
