A better driver than given credit for by the online community, not as good a driver as the media made her out to be. A better driver than her in Jimmie Johnson is currently proving how hard switching from open wheel to stock cars (or the reverse) truly is.

One time I watched that running wild show with Bear Grylls and Danica Patrick was on it.

Like female fighter pilots in the '90s...

Until you have a base to separate the Great from the also rans,

you only get the willing, not necessilary the capable....

I know NASCAR is pushing Females and Minorities,

but they would be better off with a female series first...

So the cream can rise to the top....

Can't forget the 100/1000s of men who never made it anywhere in the series,

why Bush and Trucks have survived for so long.....

She was a good Open wheel driver, But coing into NASCAR like most open wheel driver ( Except Tony Stewart) She was pushed to hard to fast. Had they taken time with her in lower classes rather than puch her to the top, She was great at getting saponsorships, But had a hard time on the track.

She was good. Good at getting DNFs. Overated. But I think they did it to get more women interested in the sport
