“ I like the gold they use for these parallels but the base design on the front is very plain. I like the back much better. ” -pugchump

“ Pretty blah design. ” -BigDaddy

“ Bazooka Gold. Alright. My only real complaint about the modern Bazooka cards, maybe just the gold parallel, is the super thickness. Not sure why they did that. It isn't like they used the cards for packaging for the gum like they did decades ago. ” -captkirk42

“ Besides Kyrie, do any duke PGs produce/do well in the NBA? I am drawing a blank. ” -parsley24

He was on the Bulls when I lived in Chicago. Hard worker, limited scorer on some fun Bulls teams with Hinrich, Gordon and Deng. Cool card.

The Gold parallels of this brand and the Bowman cards of the era were to act as pack feeling protection but something more than just an ad or piece of blank cardboard. Packs that contained jersey cards didn't have a gold parallel.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

Pretty standard front but an interesting back.

I am maybe late in the news, but I always thought that Bazooka has baseball cards only (except for the 1971-72 hockey box bottoms). Never heard of Bazooka basketball or football cards before. I am glad to hear that.

It's suprising that any cards for Duke guards of this era can even be photographed before they flop to the floor.
