That's my scan!!! I love cricket. Cricket is my life. Without cricket life is not complete. KFC is not necessay for my life but their sponsorship of cricket is helpful in helping me love cricket.

Wow! Never thought I'd see the Melbourne Stars as the RCOTD!!

When I started watching Big Bash a couple years ago, I decided the Stars were my team. Very funny to see them here on a random October morning.

Didn't take long for that to become a RCOTD.

Nice to see a minority sport there.

Well, in basically every other continent than the Americas, Cricket is not a minority sport. Nice to see a cricket card on here, I'm an American, but I've watched a few tests. It's a shame that it's not more popular here.

The front of the card is great. The back is garbage. It's basically a ToppsTown baseball card. The front is great and the back says basically garbage about how "good" the player is, usually some random stat to make them look good.

Didn't think I'd get this far from building robots in the garage, but here we are now. Wish I could make a robot that could scan every image of my cards in here...

I puchased some cricket cards in Australia when I visited about 4-5 years ago, heck, they even had them at the airport (also Aussie Football cards too). I'd say cards are more established there than they were in Europe where Panini stickers have been king for so long.

Cricket was massive in Philadelphia until around 1900 apparantly. Lots of good podcasts out there about cricket in America and Canada for anyone interested. Also, the world's first recognised international contest was a cricket match between Canada and America.
